Dr. Hongyu GUO, associate professor and master supervisor. His doctoral dissertation has been elected to the provincial excellent doctoral dissertation in 2012. He was rated as the excellent communist and the excellent teacher and received the title of “favorite teacher” in Henan Polytechnic University (2013). He supervised researches from National Natural Science Foundation, Joint Research Fund of Coalbed Methane of Shanxi Province, Scientific and Technological Research Projects of Henan Province. He participated in more than 20 projects, such as the national “973” research project, and coal group companies. He has published over 30 academic articles and 13 articles of them are included in SCI or EI. He awarded 15 national invention patents, and gained 4 Provincial Prizes. He published a book named《Theory and Techniques of Hydraulic Stimulating Underground Coal Mine》. He is a member of Collaborative Innovation Center of Coalbed Methane and Shale Gas for Central Plains Economic Region，Henan Province.
