Dr. Wen WANG is a lecturer and postgraduate supervisor at Henan Polytechnic University(HPU). The deputy director of the Mine Development and Design Institute of HPU. In 2017-2018, as a visiting scholar, he studies in Department of Civil Engineering under the guidance of Prof. Jian ZHAO in Monash University, AUS. He is mainly involved in the teaching and research work on rock dynamics and the surrounding rock control in coal mine.

He is the project leader of Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Provincial Key Laboratory of Support project, Guiding Issues of China Coal Industry Association, Doctoral Fund of HPU, Youth Teacher Fund Project of HPU, and so on. He is also the main participant of National Natural Science Fund Key Projects, Surface Items of the National Natural Science Fund projects, Key Fund for Doctoral Program of Ministry of Education. He has participated in over 20 corporate cooperation projects. He has 12 invention patents, and 14 utility model patents. He has published over 20 articles. In addition, he was awarded 7 provincial level prizes. He once went abroad to attend the international conferences or academic exchange in American, Australia.
