Yonglong WANG is a Lecturer and master's supervisor in School of Energy Science and Engineering. He obtained his PhD in 2013 from Henan Polytechnic University (HPU), China. He has supervised and participated more than 10 research projects of the National Science-technology Support Plan, the National Natural Science Foundation, and Coal Group Companies, etc. and gained 1 second prize of state science and technology award, 4 Provincial Prize on Science and Technology.

He authored and co-authored more than 30 journals and proceedings papers in the areas of gas drainage and geological drilling.

Research interests: mainly on mining safety and disaster prevention, CBM (coal-bed methane) development and utilization.
